Global Explorers Finland is an unofficial club which however has been around since year 2000. It was actually created by a British Raymond B. who lives in Finland. If you have been in at least 100 areas according to Travels Century Club country list you can join us – or just visit us in one of our meetings.
We have monthly meetings in the restaurant of Lost in Helsinki (Kaisaniemenkatu 3) every first Friday of the month starting at 17:30. If the restaurant of Lost in Helsinki is closed or reserved, we meet in Oluthuone Kaisla, (Vilhonkatu 4).
In the meetings we discuss all possible travel related topics, where we have been, where we plan to go and share stories and tips especially about more rare locations. Some of our active members rank among the top twenty travelers on the Most Traveled People worldwide.
Occasionally we also travel together.
You are most welcome to visit our meetings – or join us, if you live in Finland – being a bunch of people traveling a lot we can easily switch the meeting language to English if needed.
